Jira - Create an issue

Use the Jira - Create an issue action A tool for building the processes, logic, and direction within workflows. Actions are the steps the workflow performs to complete a process. to create an issue in a Jira project.

Configure the Jira - Create an issue action

  1. Add the action to the workflow and open the action configuration panel. For more information, see Add an action to the workflow.

  2. Select a Connection. If you do not have a connection, see Add a connection.
  1. Select an Accessible resource.
  2. Select a Project name.
  3. Select an Issue type.
  4. Type a Summary.
  5. Enter other details for the issue you want to create.
  6. Create or select a variable for the output.

This connector uses the standard Jira issue template. You can create custom fields and remove some template fields. If this field is removed in Jira you get the following error message when attempting to configure this field: {"errorMessages":[],"errors":{"priority":"Field 'priority' cannot be set. It is not on the appropriate screen, or unknown."}}.

If you get this error, re-create the missing field in Jira.
